First Aid Response

The first aid training course, provides a comprehensive set of practical skills needed by first aiders in most workplaces, giving both the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies. It meets the standards required to help comply with health and safety regulations as set out by the Health and Safety Authority. These skills are learned and mastered while having fun along the way.

​COURSE BACKGROUND

​The course covers a range of topics to do with general first aid emergencies including how to recognise an injury or illness, how to provide treatment based on your findings and how what to watch for before the arrival of an ambulance. This First Aid course is a Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) Certified course.

This course is run over 3 days with a multiple-choice question exam and practical's. On successful completion, the attendee will be awarded a PHECC First Aid Responder certificate. This certificate is valid for 2 years.
